Q: Subscribe & Save Question?

For all you Amazon savvy shoppers,

When you choose subscribe and save to get items cheaper do you (a) have to have Amazon Prime and (b) have to keep your subscription for a certain amount of time? Or can you cancel when you feel like it?

You don't have to have Prime, and shipping is always free when you subscribe. You can cancel at any time.

Thanks fluffy, I didn't know shipping was free when you subscribed! Amazon is sounding better and better, too bad I can't pay with PayPal (for obvious reasons). We always have such great Amazon deal posted here too!

I use subscribe and save a lot and just order what I want and then cancel my subscribe and save subscription and you can re-activate it when ever you want, just make sure the price hasn't gone back up.

You can pay for your Amazon orders directly from your checking account, if you have no credit cards.

Fluffy, that is so cool since I am constantly misplacing my cards at home! I see a great deal, pay, then am so wrapped up in my deal that I can't find the card later.

Can't find your credit cards when you need them? That's exactly like my wife! If you place an order on Amazon with a credit card, it keeps the card on file for future orders, and doesn't make you provide the CVV2 code from the back of the card when you place new orders, unlike some other sites. So even if you can't find your cards when there is a great Amazon deal, as long as one card is on file, you can use it to place new orders.

The only exception is if you want to ship your order to a new address that you haven't used before. Then it will make you provide more verification data to make sure that someone didn't gain unauthorized access to your account and order everything that Amazon has shipped to Latvia.
