Just a quick stock pick. Tesla popped in the past 2 weeks, almost doubling its price/share. I think it should hit $100, price target of $110. Buy if you want to make some money :)

They are also heavily shorted. I am not sure I would take this risk. Their fundamentals don't support the stock price. That said, I think they are a great company and I wish I could afford their products :)

short volume is big but that's all incorporated in current price. It's a value pick - you can't do fundamentals on super high growth stocks that are this hot. If interested, do a reverse straddle. I have a few going right now... I am betting on volatility

Whats with all the thumbs down!? lol I kind of like someone mentioning stocks here. investing is very important, and another way we can get even more for our money than the deals on this site!

@kevin07 Apple is a terrible idea in my opinion. I see possible potential down the road, but as for now no. Apple is being killed by other phone companies in revenue like Samsung, and its killing their stock. Look at the trends since November.

Thumbs up for most by me,learning some stuff here! I've always been interested but without having the required knowledge I wouldn't even attempt to get into the market. Always a risk but the more I know the easier it will be for me to take the leap. Thanks everyone.

AAPl has an excess cash problem... it's hard to do fundamentals on it. I would stay away for now. If you guys want to play it safe, create a passive portfolio with ETFs hedging against each other.

I told my mother to buy aapl at $89 a share. She never listens to me. If any of you invested in wind energy, as an electrical engineer, I strongly advise you to sell as fast as you can. Buy stocks in mining, copper and phosphate, not gold or diamonds
