some  of these deals arent realy deals.
people doesnt seem to know the difference between something that is for sale and something that is on sale.
please only post things that are on sale.

I think sometimes people genuinely need guidance and it could help if you leave a comment. I know this can be a sensitive topic for some people but I for one appreciate the intention.

I've wondered about that, too, why some things get posted as being a deal.

There is a minus button! If you go to the heating up section and find the deal and hit the thumbs down button it will MINUS the deal.

THANK YOU for expressing everyone's true feelings! The matter of the fact is this whole "I will pay you for posting deals" model is flawed because it creates a conflict of interest for the posting party. If quantity pays more than quality, especially with each poster reinforcing each mediocre deal by plussing it, then why should people change the status quo?

Maybe they should just change the name of the site to "DEALS" and take out all the PLUSING and just let the moderators determine what deals are the best and decide if they go to the front page, they do that anyhow no matter how many pluses a deal gets and instead of PLUSES they should go off of the comments that are made on the deals. I have seen a lot of deals go to the front page that don't have 1 comment on them and then I have seen deals with 50 pluses and 20 comments never make it to the front page.

Good luck. Ive been saying this for like 5 years. Every time I do all I get is thumbs down for saying we should be able to self moderate the deals.
