Hi--I'm new to this site..  I have a baby on the way (not sure of gender yet) and would like to get some suggestions on unique (but not crazy) baby names..  Thanks!

Jameson for a boy (I named my first son Jameson and never allowed nicknames such as Jamie or Jim, etc.) He is 21 now and also prefers to be called Jameson. It's a fairly unique name without being too out there.

Michelle for a girl. Again, a name that is unique but still a beautiful name that people recognize.

I have three sisters who have french names (mom was French) and their names are:
Antoinette
Annick
Stephanie

Michelle is pretty common though. Let me tell you from experience, we gave our kids unique names that were not popular at all during the time we named our children them, but they boomed in popularity shortly after. My oldest is Alyssa, I knew of one person with that name when she was born, now they are everywhere. As well as our second daughter, Taylor same deal. My youngests name is Kaine, what is great is he loves his name which was something I was a bit worried about.

I had thought of naming both of sons Doctor so that they would not have to go to college. Doctor Williams would be a fine name and who needs to know that's it's their name and not a title?
