Q: What do you know about international comedy?

This is kinda a weird question and does not have anything to do with deals, but I am hoping to travel a bit within the next few years (if I can find a good deal...there, I made it relevant) and I have noticed that people from different countries tend to have different types of humor. For instance, I can be pretty sarcastic and when I studied abroad in Manly, Australia, the locals thought I was being serious when I'd make a satirical comment. I also had a hard time understanding some of their humor. I know a lot of it has to do with the individual, but could anyone give me some general examples of humor from other countries?

You'd love Britain and Ireland 'cause they love sarcastic humor. Western Europe still loves clowns and physical humor. The Japanese and South Koreans love gross-outs. The North Koreans have no sense of humor but are snappy dancers.
