it means that people put up posts/pics of their fake lives. your friends' updates are one sided and are heavily censored as they only want to portray their lives a certain way to the public.
it's a controlled substance- that's what facebook is.

I deleted my account a few days ago though they give you 14 days to change your mind. I have greatly enjoyed FaceBook though I am not happy about TimeLine and their constant and almost maniacal need to track every move one makes. If you don't log out of FaceBook they follow you around the web and note all of your purchases and even post those on your wall. Heaven forbid you fail to logout and you go to Amazon and buy an "adult toy" as all of your friends will know about your purchase. It's very creepy and I get the sense I am being stalked. Still, I will miss my group of friends and all that we shared on FaceBook. But, enough is enough. I'll survive.

For a guy with all these articles about ipads, android, phones, electronics and such you are having a problem with the functionality of Facebook? Thats so odd because I never log out and amazingly for the amount of surfing and shoppping I do online I have never had Facebook post my activity without asking first. And who cares about timeline? Do you often read your own profile page?
