Q: What if there was an "expires today" section?

I was just noticing that there are loads of deals that are posted ahead of time and get buried. They get dupped, people forget about the deal and miss out, etc. Wouldn't it be neat to have an "expires today" tab? This might also encourage people to add an expiration date--a bunch of deals have are missing that.

I would use it, what do you all think?

i do like that idea. sometimes it's nice to see what last minute deals you can get right before they go back to normal retail expensive ridiculous pricing =D.

Great idea, I saw a deal in the last 48 hours that doesn't START for a week or two, and you know nobody will remember it by then...
I feel terrible about those because hey, its probably a great deal, and yeah, ten other folks will submit it later and get credit for it.

@jpanddanielle, from what a mod posted in one of these Ask&Share, if you update after 24 hours of posted it gets reset as a new deal so they could always do that but you also get reset on plusses for that deal too. I notice a lot of other posters get dupped a lot on these early early deals too!

Yeah, we talked about this idea before. I even suggested a calendar idea (even PM'd a mod about this, if I remember correctly) so that dates that have those giveaways or in-store freebies could be posted one and just added to this calendar. This way, we wouldn't have to see the deal on the FP an hour after the deal ends :/ (we all know that feeling...)

I know... I've been waiting. I think I really wanted them to do something like that since I missed the free TCBY day :/
