What do you put in your kids' Easter baskets? I'm trying to think of stuff to add besides the usual candy and chocolates (though those are the foundation, of course). Any ideas for little toys or trinkets to put in an Easter basket?

I guess it depends on how old your child is as to what you put in there basket, but some suggestions are coloring books, crayons, bubbles, bubble mower (I know it wont fit but could set it beside)any outdoor water toys, money, just about anything you can think of that your child likes to play with can be put in the basket.

If you are religious, you could put a children Bible. I like to put small toys like trucks or dolls, DVDs, puzzles, kites, pinwheels, PlayDoh, and/or stickers. I also like to put wrapped homemade gifts and treats. I always include a brand new Easter dress or dress outfit for the kids to wear!

My parents used to get me tiny toys to sprinkle throughout the baskets. Examples are tiny army men, tiny cars/planes etc, things like that. Sounds like it'll be a wonderful Easter for your family!

These are all great ideas, and it's helped me to get creative on my own, too. Thanks again, I appreciate it!
