Can someone please tell me where it's cheaper or better to use Skypes's paid services than almost any other VoIP provider? Their per-minute rates are higher than anything else I've used, and that's even BEFORE you add in their per-call connection fee, which other services don't charge. Even at half price, Skype is still probably more expensive.

Forget Skype. My account was used to make calls to Egypt or some crazy country like that and I never had my password compromised. They wouldn't refund my money. Google Voice for life!

That was the old Skype..they were notorious for not having any way to get refunds, but since they were bought by the private equity firms, their service has gone way up (including they now have ways to get refunds and an actual customer service dept). Now that they're owned by Microsoft they should be even better than that :)
