DealsPlus 100 Giveaways - PS3 (December 9th-16th)

My Xbox is sitting at my moms house in California right now, I did not have a Microcenter near me to get the $100 rebate so I had her go buy it so i could pay her back. As for the Wii it is wrapped up and sitting under the tree. It is a gift for my wife but I will review it after xmas. :)

Yeah we are cool. I have my quarks too so I can get over other peoples pretty easy. As far as all the contest go I thought there had been this one, Ipod, shuffle and thumb drive perhaps I am forgetting one. Anyways, I know you worked hard, at the beginning there was several people spamming but most of you figured out it was not cool. I do think DealsPlus probably had a hard time filtering it all out but in the end the contest is as it is and they chose their winner. If anything was afoul here it is on them. Enjoy it will be looking forward to your personal review of the item. I will let you know when I get on Xbox Live because once my wife realizes I got the Xbox it will be a battle to get on Live lol.

As for the steering wheel, I just want to mention it had seperate shifter, the pedals were brushed aluminum and overall when I looked at it at a store it was very solid. i had to tell myself my current wheel still works fine and so I could not justify buying it. It was a tough battle I hate telling myself no. :(

Thats a thoughtful idea, hopefully they can ship it in by christmas. ANyone know when its shipping?

Really you cannot blame him, he went by their rules they later said do not spam after quite a few people were banned for it and digg cut off posts about DealsPlus. I would like to know if he submitted the most traffic because while it may increase chances it wasn't supposed to be the person that got the most. Would not be able to tell without all the numbers really. Oh Well.

i just think other people should get a chance to win. Correct me if I am wrong but haven't you won every contest? I think they should spread the love around to mroe than one or a select few people. I think everyone combined can make a much larger impact than just a single person.

As far as personally against you, I think you can be a little rude to people sometimes, also I dont care for people who knock delas that are posted here. It is one thing, as I have told you in another post, to post a comment saying hey I seen this for X amount of dollars. But to post just to say anyone who buys this is stupid ect. I dont care for. Like the steering wheel, I am sure you recall it was the first time I had replied to anything you put, you rip on it because it is $300 and compare it to a $50 Xbox 360 wheel. I have seen the Xbox 360 wheel, but have not bought it yet. If you compare the two I think you would have seen there is no comparison. Instead of objectively looking at it you decided that people are stupid if they buy it. So that is the kind of arrogance I don't care for.

I will say sorry for saying you should get a job, for all i know you are either too young or possibly even incapable of getting a job. I do not think you cheated either. As for having the two acconut or more I jumped to conclusions but it is what came to mind when seeing someoen refer to themselves in third person. Having two accounts would only be of use to use one to plus all your comments on the other. Someoen has been doing it so that could have explained both in one shot.

As i said somewhere else, I do not hold you responsible for winning, and anyone who can score a 5 or 600 dollar game system for free is cool with me. I will be paying for it once they work out the controller bug, until then I will stick with my Wii and Xbox 360. I just hope the Wii I just got on Sunday has the new wrist straps.

Look below, how many forums were you banned from for spamming? I don't doubt you had some legit ones I am sure quite a few. In the end you were banned for spamming so there was some done. I never expected to win by all means and I am happy for you as the winner. I just hope future contests do not encourage going against principle. As someone who receives 500+ spams aday at work, most caught by my filters, it is still something I am against.

It happens, people say false statements out of rage. I know I would do it too if I'm angry. Anyway, some people probably did get banned from forums. I posted a topic on IGN boards, and people replied saying it was spam, so after that, I just stopped doing it, cause I knew that I wasnt gonna win without doing that. But ujaas actually did help out some people, not randomly spam ppl.
