Congrats Gonagettaviper! Btw, I found out that I have wireless up in Bigbear, So i'll be on at night. While I was gone, seems like some drama going on from a few newer people. Look, what hoboto said was pretty accurate. The more activity means you do have a higher chance to win a prize. If you come in for the first time or have just recently joined, and have not done anything, except waited for the giveaways, you do not have as great a chance than those that are lvl 2-5. The reason they are that level is because they are active. Nothing in life is free. Don't come here and expect to win if this is your very first time (although it is possible). We have seen a few level 1's win and it's because it's random! Don't criticize Vin because of how the random system works. Write a program yourself, and you'll soon see that it's very legit.

To add more evidence of how this is legit, getting to level 3-4 is fairly easy if you are a good contributor. Submit a few deals, be part of discussions, make good comments, help people out. Don't complain, don't cry, just have a good attitude and you'll soon get your levels. It is a status symbol afterall. Nothing physical, nothing tangible. The fact that DealsPlus is giving away free stuff is amazing in itself. Enjoy it while it lasts because this is one of the very rare sites that is legit and actually gives great prizes to their users.

This would probably get a - by those same people too... but it doesn't matter now since the point system on the comments is taken off. I could understand the +/- on the ideas/name... but now???

I understand some frustration here on a very new user winning something so cool, but the contest says "Your odds will be increased by your activity", but it doesn't say how much of a factor it is. If you and 50 others, for example, buy 100 lotto tickets, you increase your chances of winning, but if 10,000 people only buy 1 ticket, the odds that someone who only bought 1 ticket will win, are greater than the chances that someone who bought 100 tickets will win. We don't know how exactly a winner is chosen, but I'm guessing it's pretty random. If a brand new member gets 1 chance tossed into the pot, and an active level 5 member has 8 chances in the pot, a new level 1 member could still win. An active level 5 member just has a better chance. It sounds like there are a lot of chances to win here. Be patient. Congratulate the winners, and be happy for them, just as you would want someone to be happy for you tomorrow.

yes i agree i am not trying to be a pain but I think i did more than viper and about 100 other users did more than viperand he is level 4 and we are level 3 please can someone explain this to me or how it works.
