They have decent quality brushes, I would argue about eyeshadows as they have very low pigmentation. As for mascaras - I bulk ordered E.l.f once - all were DRIED OUT on arrival and the waterproof mascara was just a one blop of goo, all of them went straight to trash. I will not buy from E.l.f again, it's a cheap brand suitable perhaps for beginners who never used any other make up and can not tell the difference in quality yet.

ah, i just LOVE this brand. you can't beat the prices for the quality! nyx is still my fav as far as value brands go, but as for typical drugstore brand stuff, ELF is such an amazing price for an amazing product!
