I wanted to check out "Life Nomadic by Tynan" but it's only showing a buy now price of $2.99.

It claims:
Digital List Price: $2.99
Print List Price: $19.95
Prime Members: $0.00 (read for free) Prime Eligible
Kindle Purchase Price: $2.99
When Purchased, You Save: $16.96 (85%)

I don't actually own a Kindle (but I have the app on my phone). I am a Prime member.

I had no troubles grabbing a couple of the other books here (and previous freebies)

According to the FAQ, this is likely because the Kindle Lending library (that makes this book "free") is only available to those who actually own a Kindle, rather than those who have the Kindle Reader app.

It's worth noting and probably would be a good idea to exclude this book or add it to the post title.
