well i went there yesterday and all the workers looked at me like i was crazy and said "ok i'll check them out" and pulled out "the gun" and started checking and only a few on this list actually clearenced...like no big name games. i walked out with 5 games but hey the kids liked getting the games.

Went to my local BB, and they had a bit of the same titles, not as many though. I picked up SSB Melee for 5 bucks, along with NBA 2k7 for PS2 for 10 bucks.

I just came from there and the sales people had no idea about this..there were definitely no $1.99 games which I did see online. The lowest games were priced at $5.00.

The games are online by now most of them are sold out.

I did manage to find one out of that entire list that I wanted.

So keep checking online for the $1.99 games.

I went there this morning and the sales people knew all about it--they were swarming them looking for games they were interested in (and adding the price tags). As expected, my local Best Buy had nothing I REALLY wanted, but since I made the trip to get there before it opened, I ended up picking up Star Wars: Republic Commando for XBox because I had heard it was at least decent (so easily worth the $5). They had some $1.99 games for the DS but none of the good ones... just things like Pokemon Dash.

I'm guessing this is not at all bestbuy stores because the salesteam at my local besbuy had no idea what was going on until we kept approaching them about it.

The lowest price I saw at the store was $5.00.

Most of the games on the list weren't instore. But then they usually re-stock right when the store opens.

I was just at my local BB, they were putting out the price stickers for this, but the list of 1.99 games and lower priced games doesn't seem to match. My suggestion, if you want to check it out, head there, its instore only

as far as i know this is in-store only. i haven't seen any information that indicates otherwise. this starts monday by the way.

also a lot, a lot of fatwallet and slickdeals people know about this and are buying up as many of these games as they can to pricematch and try to make a profit, so a lot of stores are going to be completely cleared out of these games, which sucks because there are a lot of them i would love to get personally. some deals websites have some shady people on them. hope dealsplus members won't try to pull crap like that :)
