i've had this mouse ever since it was out and even though its wireless, it served me very well when gaming it has worked flawlessly ever since i've used it some minor drawbacks i can point out are: -kind of heavy, was hard to get used to at first -the logitech logo and some of the arrows have worn away after use -won't work on glass =( -the 'laser' doesnt have the expected 'laser' look to it. Its just a really fine and small red laser. ( you cant see it unless you look directly into the lens.. and even so, its just a dot) -hard to mod

I think that may be an isolated case...you should get it replaced. This is hands-down the greatest mouse available for right-handers. Ridiculous review from CNET(9.5 / 10) And a ridiculous price as well...so hard to resist.

Logitech has great customer service and warrenty. I had their MX 700 mouse, which is non laser. After almost 3 years of daily usage. The charger base broke, I called them up about the issue and provided them with the mouse hardware serial number, and they agreed to send me a replacement and told me I don't even need to send the old one back. I didn't get the replacement for a couple weeks. Turns out they no longer produce MX 700, and they ended up sending me a brand new MX 1000 (the one listed above). So I highly recommend buying Logitech product based on my personal experience.

i dont know what yank33zrule is saying he's obviously been ripped off because this mouse is a beast. it's so nice for fps and i think you can enable an on the fly sensitivity adjustment (i'm not sure if i got this from some website or logitech gave it). plus, for 40$, its a maad good deal.
