I work at the Lowes in Arnold MO. and we are very proud to offer the military discount to all military veterans past and present. It's the least we can do for all they've done for us. Kathy/MO.

I work at a Home Depot in Flushing, NY and we do give a Military discount when asked and military ID is shown. We also honor discount coupons from all competitors. LOWES & ACE hardware being the most common.

Lowe's does not try to keep that discount from you, whoever said that is incorrect! What do you expect them to do ask every customer if they are in the military? If they did not want to give it to you, then they would not even offer the discount.

I shopped at Home Depot yesterday and received a 10% discount w/my MWR military ID. If they deny, request the store manager. They even give my wife the discount w/her dependents ID.

I work at Lowes in Erie, PA and we advertise the discount during specific holidays and it is given whenever it is asked for. You're DD214 should be taken as proof. We give it to anyone who has served at all!

Home Depot in Wilmington N.C told me they do it on Veterans Day only. I was going to buy a Washer Dryer set, they lost the sale and a lot of my future business. Lowes in New Bern N.C. doesn't do it at all either of course the manager there is a ditz

I ask for my military discount every time I go to Lowes. A lot of the time if the cashier sees my retired military ID they say you get 10% off you purchase. Even though my wife is on active duty, I only use my retired ID.

I have stopped going to Home Depot because they don't give the military discount. I use to spend at least $6,000 - $8,000 a year at Home Depot, but not any more. Lowe's is my place now.

My husband and I recently went to Lowe's and tried to get the discount using his military discharge paper as proof that he had been in the military. We were informed that the the document was not taken as part of the discount and that only retired, active, or reserve military was offered the discount.

If you need a spare this is awesome. Don't drop off an old tank, and you don't need to move. It never asks you if you dropped of the old tank or your previous address or anything like that. So just buy a new tank, fill out the form, 20 bucks off the tank. Combine with another coupon from lowes and you can get a seriously good discount on a second tank!
