I've seen it contested several times at several places. I think the stats they released for the UK have given people in the US false hope or false info. We should see a "final word" release on the issue within a week.

I knew it's going to be alive today, even dealpl.us has Wii info up 30 mins before-hand. It's going to be even harder to get one this Christmas. It's the newest edition that has free remote jacket included. Amazon is the cheapest place to get a wii, with no tax and shipping. It's even better when you have Prime, free 2 day shipping and $1.99 extra for next-day shipping. Hopefully, I get mine tomorrow.

Amazon is advertising that the Wii's are fully in stock now so if you've been holding off to get one at a good deal, now's the time! The only other deal I saw as good as this or better was the one from Costco.
