10 Odd, Eccentric, And Just Plain Weird Websites

It's really not all that unusual to find unusual websites on the Internet. After all, there are approximately 370 billion websites available and you gotta believe that leaves plenty of room for the odd, eccentric, and just plain bizarre. But, with a little research, there are some gems among the rocks and here is what I found for you.

SendMeYourWounds: That's right, this website collects pictures of wounds. A photo that I looked at had a picture of an arm that had 19 stitches from a wound from a garden rake. That might have been among the milder entries. Go take a look, and, if you have a wound yourself, they are dying (almost) to hear from you.

DeathClock: This gloomy site will give you an idea of how much longer you have to live. Don't want to know? Then check on someone else.

TotallyAbsurd: Want to learn of some of the most absurd patents and inventions out there? Here is the place you want to go to learn of such inventions as the Sleep Sponge. Yup. Go look it up on the site.

TheWorldsHeaviestPeople: Provides details of folks who weight quite a bit In fact, at least 900lbs. The site is not disrespectful but is informative.

BeanCrusher: You have to do this just once. Click on the can a few times. Pretty fun and then it gets annoying. But, that's why it made the list.

SecretRestRoom: Dedicated to a secret restroom at Disneyland. I didn't know they had a secret restroom but now you can see pictures and other details.

Optillusions: Very interesting site with a lot of great optical illusions from the not-so-unusual to some that you would never had thought of.

WouldISurviveANuke: You had to ask. This site estimates your chance of surviving a nuclear incident. I live about 15 minutes from Camp David and also Ft. Detrick. I think my chances of surviving any sort of nuclear attack on the U.S. is somewhere between zero and whatever is worse than zero.

PeopleTakingNapsWithStuff: People taking naps with, well, stuff. The stuff includes everything from cute animals to weapons.

EveryBeardType: Just plain stupid. I had to include one of these.

There are, of course, at least a million more but after about ten, most folks want to move on. If you have a site that you think fits this category please leave a comment.

I bet some of the most weird sites are for adults but I can see why you left those out and I'm glad you did. These were fun. Thanks!

I've seen that death clock before. Seems like it made its way around Facebook. That Nuke site was kinda scarey. I'm safe but if Tzar bombs hit the 2 most populated cities (200 miles apart) on either side of me, the blast zone would cover half of that distance. 8-(
