I think olive garden of all places is the best value. Panera is a great place to go too and its pretty affordable!

What do you mean by a shared drink? Do you mean 2 people order and drink/share just 1 drink? I didn't think that was allowed especially with free refills. I'd rather just get water :)

@ MHT962 One per can get water, and the other person get a soda and ahare the soda. It's free refills anyway. =)

I would also say utilizing restaurant.com deals and groupon/living social deals are affordable ways to eat out.

Be super careful with restaurant.com. Check the restaurant you are looking at a deal for and make sure they are accepting the coupon, and read all the details twice.

These deals are making eating out great. Plus if you register with the commpanies, they will send you regular coupons. I know Chilis is great - I get a coupon almost every week for a free appetizer or dessert every week.
