My 'want list' and things I've bought from Dealsplus listings

30
Here are some of the things on my want list for this summer: When people ask me what I want for my birthday I usually have no idea, but this year, I am armed and dangerous LOL       I would love to take this foldable lounge chair  to the beach and read a book or lounge in my backyard.               This Digital Picture frame is so beautiful. I rarely see them in white. Great for displaying my pictures at the office. This was actually posted by one of our DP members (newguy) for $29.99 and Free Shipping. Thank you for sharing.                   If you've read my profile, you know I have an obsession with wallets. I found this Cole Haan wallet through the Neiman Marcus DP listing by ramana_forums. It was a 40% off deal with free shipping. Yep,  you guessed it, I bought it. Listing price was $98. I paid $58.80 and got Free Shipping.                     I absolutely love this color, and more importantly the style and price. This was also from a DP listing by Shopshop and Ezzylovestosave on 5/14/12 for up to 75% off. That sale has ended but would anyone like to guess the price of this wallet?              I haven't bought this pair of shoes yet. I think they're cute but I have one that is almost identical to this. I might just get it because it's also a great price. This was actually one of my DP listings on 6/4/12. It is reasonably priced at $27.59 and $2.95 shipping. Do you agree that this is an irresistable deal?     CONCLUSION: As you can see I do a fair amount of shopping on DP. Some deals are really incredible and I have saved a tremendous amount, but I have to say I've also spent quite a bit. Be that as it may, the money I earn from DP can definitely subsidize the shopping I do here. It is a mutually beneficial relationship =)

I thought you were about to say you wanted a dog. I have one I'll send ya. ;-)

I haven't kept track of everything I've bought as a result of posts, but off the top of my head, several iTunes cards, some running shoes, some clothes for myself and my kids. I wish I'da kept up with it now.

Not to be rude, but how can you tell someone to buy shoes for you? I mean, you have to be there when you buy them. It's not like a photo frame or a wallet.

I agree to a degree. I've bought 2 pair of runnign shoes online and was pleased with both. I bought a pair of casual hiking style boots and hate them.

Won't buy any shoes except New Balance running shoes online again. Only them because I know how they'll fit as long as I buy the same size. The boots were supposed to be a replacement for my Rockport XOS, which were hands down the best boots I've ever owned. Comfy. Plenty of room for my fat foot. I went back with the same size Rockport in a similar style (the XOS is discontinued). Nowhere near the same fit or feel.

@Zoneric - I didn't put the shoes on my birthday list. It's only on my own want list. I've ordered shoes online quite a few times. There is always an option to return it like anything else you buy online. I bought a Jessica Simpson handbag from ebags last month, and the picture was not representative of the actual product. I returned it.

I've about given up on a want list as I am a paycheck-to-paycheck single dad so my budget is very tight. The only thing I've really thought about is the 10" Galaxy tablet from Samsung. I've seen them refurbished for under $400 and they are sweet tablets. One of these days :)

@erik99- I actually have most of these of my birthday list. I am basically capitalizing on the birthday exchange rule. It makes my gift givers feel better when I pick out stuff I want. I have a xoom tablet that my husband's job gave him and I use it when I need internet when I'm on the go.

I am starting on a "wish" list too. There is too many things I need to replace for the home and there are too little cash. So I am putting everything in my wish list and grab them when I see any good deal.
