Odd Stuff You Can Buy On Amazon

100
Amazon is my favorite online store.  I buy a lot from Amazon and I have always found them to have fantastic customer service.  I use Prime so I get most of what I buy in two days.  By taking advantage of the .edu address deal, I am able to get Prime for $39 a year for the next four years.  Most of the deals I post on DP are from Amazon.  All in all, I am a big fan.  While scouring Amazon for deals I do occasionally come across some pretty odd stuff.  I also used Google to see what else people have found on Amazon that is a bit out of the ordinary and decided it would make an interesting Page.  So, here we go.

Just click on the product name if you would like to see more about the item.  I did check to make sure all of these items are still listed.  If you have an example or two of equally odd items, just provide the link in the comments sections and I will add them to the Page.

Uranium Ore :  $49.95   This is actually the really stuff.

Wolf Urine: $31.95  You get 32 ounces that you can use to lure other animals I suppose.

Dear Butt: Currently unavailable but they will let you know when it's back in stock.

Potty Putter Golf Game: $15.05  Not the weirdest item but it still makes the list.

Poop Freeze Spray: $13.90  The idea is that it's easier to pick up poop if you freeze it first.

Sigmund Freud Action Figure:  $10.39   Freud actually is one of my heroes but not quite this way.

The Beer Belly:  $29.95  Holds 80 ounce of beer. Provide a pic it you actually buy & wear this.

Live Ladybugs:  $11.89  For your twelve bucks you get about 1.500 of  the little bitty critters.

An Odd Treatment for Depression: $15.10  You have to read the description to believe it.

Guardian Angel: Unavailable for now.  This is supposed to be an acupuncture device.

Playmobil Security Checkpoint: $99.95  Because you can't learn early enough.

Fresh Whole Rabbit:  $45.90  Mostly for the gross factor of the picture.

All Wood Coffin Kit: Not currently available.  But, hopefully, you have time.

Bag Of Bones:  $44.44   10lbs of human bones.  Random selection.

I will add more items as I do more research but I really wanted to get this Page started so here are the first eight items. I am hoping to get some ideas from other DP members as well. Enjoy!

Amazon is great, but you don't want to buy your uranium there! You want to go to http://unitednuclear.com where you can buy a much hotter sample for that price, or a similar low level sample for much less.

I wonder if most compressed air cans like for cleaning a keyboard would also freeze poop? I wonder why I am wondering this.

My dad might like the bathroom putting game. I doubt my mom would.

I'm a dad and I would probably consider the putter game though I am a single dad and also responsible for cleaning the bathroom :)

@Mary - I think any of these sprays could end up blowing poop all over the place LOL

I've worked up to 14 items and am getting bleary-eyed from reading through web sites on the topics. But, I think that's enough for the Page though I will gladly add any that are suggested.

@shopange08 - Yeah, that one was pretty odd! Perhaps someone could try it tell us if it relieved their depression. Oddly enough, if 36 years in the field of psychology, I've never run across that particular treatment modality :)

Loved this post. Actually made my day. How easily I am amused.
The wolf urine will run off other animals but you might get a pack of wolves for your trouble if any are in your area.

Some of that stuff is crazy. I remember hearing at one time that the sale of human bones was discouraged because people in 3rd world countries would kill each other and sale the bones in complete skeleton form to med students.

Ladybugs are beneficial insects. You can buy them at a lot of feed places. Preying Mantises as well. Those things scared the hell out of me as a child. Then, as an adult I learned that after mating the female often eats the male, often beginning BEFORE they were "finished" (so tospeak. So I felt the fear was fully justified.

lol this is one review on the uranium ore.

So glad I don't have to buy this from Libyans in parking lots at the mall anymore. January 21, 2009
By Kyle J. Von Bose
I bought this to power a home-made submarine that I use to look for prehistoric-era life forms in land-locked lakes around my home town in Alaska. At first I wasn't sure if this item would (or could) arrive via mail, but I was glad to see it showed up with no problems. Well, almost no problems.

Unfortuantly my mom opened my mail, because she does not respect people's privacy. She was pretty upset to see Uranium Ore. After a long argument and me running away from home again, she finaly stopped being such an idiot and I was able to get back to work.

The quality of this Uranium is on par with the stuff I was bying from the Libyans over at the mall parking lot, but at half the price! I just hope the seller does not run out, because I have many projects on my list including a night vision sasquatch radar, an electromagnetic chupakabra cage, a high velocity, aerial, weighted Mothman net and super heated, instant grill cheese sandwhich maker.
