1. Fill a coffee filter with 1/4 cup of baking soda. Tie filter shut and put in shoes when not in use. 

2.  Purchase scented cedar scrap wood and cut into small rectangles. Put in shoes overnight and your shoes will smell like fresh cedar wood. 

3. Put kitty litter in a stocking and let it sit in your shoes overnight. Kitty little obsorbs odor and moisture

4. Put rubbing alcohol (or vodka) into a spray bottle and spray into your shoes. It will remove the odor and if used daily, it will prevent the odor from occuring. 

5. Insert dryer sheets in your shoes overnight

6. Spray febreeze in your shoes after each use

7. Put shoes in a plastic bag and put in freezer overnight. This will kill the smell (though it may also freeze your feet if you're planning on wearing them soon)

8. Let the shoes sit out in the sun. Getting the shoes dry is an important part of removing the odor. 

9. Put a small amount of corn starch in your shoes each morning. The corn starch will help absorb moisture.
 
10. Take dried lavender leaves and put them into a nylon. Insert the nylon in your shoes when not in use.

Stuffing them with crumpled newspaper works to absorb moisture & odors, too.

I like the scented woode and alcohol idea, and sure seat the shoes in the sunshine is the best and easiest way, I believe :P
