I've got a powerbook g4 that's about 4 or 5 years old (been so long I can't exactly remember), and I still use it most days. I've never had a problem with it, even after my son knocked it off my desk onto the floor.

That will run 10.5 Leopard just fine. If you can find some iLife disks for cheap, it will out perform any $300 netbook, easily. You won't have a webcam integrated, but OSX is a huge advantage over windows.

How is OSX a huge advantage over Windows? Lack of applications and games for the Mac makes any Netbook with Windows more appealing. In addition, don't forget the stream of issues OSX has with Flash and Youtube, especially on such an underpowered laptop.

i don't see this as a price drop ,it's more like a spec drop , and that's why it's cheap it's just old , and for the price u might pay u won't get what u're hoping for ;being a mac or not . Imagine running a Windows 98 OS ;that's how bad it is .
