Yes, but how soon? If I want one of these within the next month, how much will the price drop? 3 months? 6 months? Maybe next year this thing will be down to about $100. That would save me $50 but I would lose the use of it for that year.

There are more Android tablets coming out all the time, but most of them aren't very good.

I think Archos's poor product support is a good reason not to buy, but predicted price drops just aren't very dependable or useful.

You'll probably see one on Black Friday (in little less than a month) between $100-$130. Again, like you said, it really depends on the quality and the brand. You can get one now for under $100 for a brand that we never ever heard of. It's just how much you are willing to pay for the brand and quality.
