this looks like a great price for a deep fryer. anybody know about the quality? ive heard bad stories about cheap fryers that stop working after a while. this one seems kinda small too

The 1.2L capacity sounds REALLY small. I got a Waring Pro Cool Touch fryer from Costco for $29.99. It has 3/4 gal. oil capacity, and I can't imaging anything smaller would be useful.
