it does ,but that's when u should wait for a better price . when a core i7 1.7GHz gets priced at around $700(some times) that's 6.8 Ghz of total speed , compare to 4.26 of total speed of the 2.13 dual core ;that's a difference of about 37% in speed , ignoring the fact that 4 cores is better than 2 cores with same total speed . it's not a bad deal ,just not good enough
