Microsoft's thing is great!

I've had mine since late 2007 and it still works. You have to replace the battery more often than I'd like, and it has this weird seizure feature where it just makes the cursor spaz out and move to the side of the screen while shaking sometimes, and it freaks out when the battery is low and doesn't really tell you that it's low until it stops working, but it's comfortable, easy to use, sturdy, and not too bad of a design. It uses one battery vs. my Apple Magic Mouse's two, so I do have to replace it more often, but it lasts long enough for me. The rubber on the sides get discolored if you use it a LOT like I do, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. It was $30 at Walmart in late 2007, so three years later it SHOULD be more like $10. I think it's like $20 at Walmart right now.

Either way, it's a decent mouse and works fine if you don't expect a genie to come out of it and make it perfect.
