Cons: Some of the cards need to be inserted upside down. There should be a graphic on the unit so the user is not left with having to figure this out by trial and error with the potential of damaging the card or the reader. Has not caused any problems but it's frustrating. Other Thoughts: Have not tried the eSATA port yet but do not see why it would not work. Not sure how useful the 5V output
