Google Play Adds “Free for Print Subscribers” Option for Play Magazines

Once you choose Free for print subscribers, you'll see a screen asking you to login or verify your subscription information.

If you subscribe to a Condé Nast magazine, you'll see a login screen asking for your email address and password to your magazine's online account. If you haven't created this account yet, you can click the link on the screen "Set up your account" to sign up. Enter this information into the screen and tap "Continue" to complete the process.

If you subscribe to a Time, Inc., magazine, you'll see a screen asking you to verify your existing subscription. You can do this by entering your account number (you can find this 11-digit number on your print magazine's address label). Or you can use your mailing address to verify the subscription.

Once you've finished the login or print verification process, you will be asked to complete your Google Wallet transaction, even though the price of your digital magazine is $0.00. Your verified subscription will be monthly recurring, regardless of the original subscription type. It expires when your original subscription expires.
