One (1) year [from date of purchase] warranty on all new handsets.
My brother turned me on to the best use of this type of phone: after fully charged, leave it in your glove box for emergencies - monitor for the first couple weeks to verify lasting charge.

Yeah, I've had trouble with T-mobile in the past -I try not to do business with them. Still -the offer seems tempting.

T-mo is notorious for not paying out on rebates. A letter of intent to sue to their executive customer care dept will get you a credit for the amount. Its bunk but I've been through it a few times.

Wait, T-Mobile's website is not an authorized dealer of T-Mobile's products and services? And how exactly could we know that?

The rebate form you applied under clearly states the following under the first condition:

Rebate offer valid ONLY for purchase of a t-mobile ....... from an authorized T-mobile national retail channel or authorized dealer. Any tmobile location, be it a store, website, or customer service would not be an authorized dealer. Only a 3rd party company who have been authorized specifically to sell these phones with a rebate by tmobile would qualify.

As such we cannot pay out your rebate.

Sincerely,
Mark T

That part is in the rebate form. However, "Any tmobile location..." is *not* in the form.

I don't that they can claim that the website is not an authorized dealer. It is dealing the products in question, and obviously authorized by the company. Repeat: there is nothing on the rebate form that says only 3rd party companies will qualify.

T-Mobile won't honor this deal! You must buy phones from a "T-Mobile Retail Partner" and not from Wal-Mart, Target, Sam's etc. As usual I got screwed on yet another rebate deal. Read the fine print,
or better yet, never buy anything with a rebate.
