Wal-Mart Secret In-Store Sale: Starting Nov 2 8am

Just got back from Walmart, only about 8 of us in line, everyone just waiting to see the laptop specs then a few more people came and half of us that were waiting left with no laptops. They had 8 laptops but I didnt even bother. CC and Bestbuy had deals much better just within the last few weeks. The regular price on the laptop was $428. Sorry I didnt grab the model number but it was the Celeron M with a 15.4" screen, 80gb hd, dvd/cdrw. Nothing I cant get online for the same price or less every few weeks. For $399 you can get a comparible Dell Vostro and put what you want in it.

What amazes me with sales like this is there was some grungy lady waiting there probably for hours, she smelled like a combination of cat urine and vomit. She yells out "yo anyone know what these specs mean" and proceeds to read them off. I am standing right behind her and say let me take a look and she flips out no way you arent touching this one, go get another one and look at that. Like I am that hard up I am going to rip it out of her hands and swipe it, this is why the majority of my shopping will be done online this year, hopefully with the help of this fantastic site and all you wonderful contributers.

Wal-Mart Secret Sale This Friday:

Fisher-Price NASCAR models - $144.72

SANYO 50 inch PLASMA HDTV - $998.00

I think this is the computer they'll be giving away for $348.

The screen color is different but everything looks the same. Plus, the site said 1 GB of RAM.

(This is the only Acer Computer that is 14" That has 1 GB of RAM that remotely resembles the computer they advertised in their secret sale)

Unless they're getting Acer Laptops from Another Inventory Site, This is probably it.

All in All, Great Deal BUT I have a feeling they're going to beat that on Black Friday

(btw, this is a smartass move to not only get a headstart on the holiday shopping season by beginning it immediately after most stores fiscal quarter but also alleviate the stress of some consumers who want the Black Friday Deals but don't want to deal with the crowd. The Black Friday Tradition will always be there, just not as intense thanks to Wal-Mart :) )

Another rumor is that Walmart will start $14.96 HD-DVD Sale this Friday
