It's actually * Features one 12-mo. subscription and 1 free month.

I bought one of these and cannot redeem the code. I called 1-800-4-MYXBOX. They told me to try again in a few days, that was a week ago. They said their servers were busy.

After reading Xbox.com forums for about 2 days I found out that some of these 12+1 accounts only work when signing up for a NEW XBOX LIVE account only.

So I tried it, since I couldn't extend my current xbox live account, so I had to start a new gamertag, I was able to apply the card right away. Obviously not their servers.

Just an fyi.
