Product Description:
If you have a Zune and the headphones that came with your Zune aren't working, call 1-877-GET-ZUNE (438-9863) 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. EST and request a replacement head set. You'll get the Premium Zune Headphones in 5-7 business days, no charge. You will have to register your Zune and give the Customer Service people your home address, e-mail, and phone number, but hey, it's free!

*Note You must turn in your headphones in order to replace these ones. I'm not sure if they actually check if its working, but you can try!

Sorry for the slow reply! The guy who told me about it said they asked for his old headphones, but didn't do anything when he didn't send them.. and they simply didn't ask me to do so.

I told them i [b]had[/b] the premium headphones, and that they had simply stopped working -- but other headphones worked fine with my Zune, and the Zune headphones didn't work in other devices.

All they asked for was name, address, phone number, and Zune serial number i believe..

Oh, and i had the standard headphones, which i haven't even taken out of the box to be honest.. but now i have the premium's because of this dead :D

Yeah, the basic Zune headphones are pretty bad. They are too big for my ears... I'm going to try this tomorrow, just in case too many people call in today. :)

UNFORTUNATELY i wasted 20 mins on the line w/ them and I asked them for zune premium headphones. He said he does not know what headphone I would receive. I told him that this was posted on zune.net and he said if it was, you will receive free premium ones. Is this confirmed that I will get premium head phones? Where have you received this info fro,?

I've done some research, and apparently they do not sell the original Zune headphones. So we can only assume that they will replace it with premiums. The originals are only packaged with Zunes.

I got mine. When i was calling for the replacement ones i acted stupid. they asked me which headphones i had and told them the zune ones and the guy asked are they the ones that go directly in your ear and im like yea....(i had the regular ones and i got the premium ones)

No, i just requested new headphones, and i got my zune over a year ago, just ask for accessory support, then say none of these, they should connect you to a customer support person.

on the phone with them now. they are sending me new headphones. no problem. (good find! great deal - loves these headphones in terms of sound quality but there seems to be a durability issue. as long as i can get them to swap them out, i'm happy)

I did this today after realizing mine were broken when i pulled them out of my pocket. Not sure which i will recieve. I said i had `headphone', and not 'earbuds' so i dont know if this will make a diffrence. The lady i got had a strong acent but was still very nice! And I dont have to ship my others back in, its just a matter of waiting! *under my breath* PREMIUM! plz,plz,I did this today after realizing mine were broken when i pulled them out of my pocket.
